Six more days till opening morning here.  Can't wait.  My cousin already has a camp set up and I'm going up tomorrow to cut some fire wood and then probably Wed or Thursday to set up my tent.

For you elk hunters out west, Washington. Idaho, Oregon etc. Be safe.
 with all the fires burning I would imagine it will make  for some challenging hunts.

It won't be long now!  I'm batting clean up again this year.  Won't be leaving home until the 15th of September.  I expect to see some current year success pictures before I go!

Here is a pic of BD, one of the bulls that have been hanging out at work since about June.   May I be lucky enough to see one of his relatives this fall.


   
The broadhead used, regardless of how sharp, is nowhere as important as being able to place it in the correct spot.
