Can you show how you stabilize the seat to support the load

Depending on the season, you might look at an orange flag over the backpack. The sticks look wicked, be careful, carrying them with your bow and walking sticks or trekking poles. Can you put them on the back with bungee cords? The TP's will help over the terrain.

Add some load lifters(frame to shoulder strap) and a sternum strap to your shoulder straps and you will greatly improve your heavy load hauling ability.

I dont need a sternum strap due to how I have the straps connected to the stand. I thought about load lifters but its one more set of straps and stuff to deal with. The load was very easy to carry as it was. But if great tips and you are correct they would make a difference!
Awbowman: im not using the seat to support the load. The seat just happen to stay in the up position because i stood the stand up on the ground to get my arms into it to lift the load. the load is just help on with a small rope laced around it a couple times.

Just looking at your shoulders a sternum strap would really improve your system. Another product to look at are Tag bags. They are a light weight game bag that really improved the light weight packer. Think sheep hunting.
