My New Blacktail Columbian Longbow
« on: August 26, 2015, 09:28:00 AM »
Recently received my brand-spanking new Columbian longbow from Norm and Alan at Blacktail. 43# @28 and 62". Sweet shooting and all the other usual superlatives apply. This model has just recently been re-introduced and wondering if any y'all   have one and if so what might be your impression. This bow handles a wide array of arrows and     spines. Will be taking him/her out opening day.
Won't set any speed records but is plenty fast enough and is definitely easy on the eyes. Thanks for looking.

Forgot to mention the woods combo. Riser-Bolivian rosewood/highly figured myrtle. Limbs-bamboo with highly figured myrtle veneers.

My friend has one that is now too heavy for him, yet he refuses to sell it.
He keeps thinking he can get back into it.

She's a beauty, congrats!

My girlfriend just told me that I get the same look in my eye when look at bow pics here, that most guys do when they "read" Playboy. I took it as a compliment.  :bigsmyl:

Great looking bow. If I didn't have one of his previous Columbians I'd be ordering one of these.
