Bear Success thread?
« on: August 27, 2015, 09:16:00 AM »
We have an elk thread going but bear begins pretty soon in a whole lot of states. How about a bear success photo thread?

Im between laptops right now and dont know how to post from a phone, otherwise I would get things started.

Where you hunting Pukwana?  Having spent quite a bit of time around Jamestown I am guessing it is not around there!

In any case, good luck from one Nodak to another.

Nice bear Sean!! Good luck with him this year Bill!!

It opens here on Sept. 19th.

We upgraded to windows 10 about a week ago, and our scanner doesn't seem to work now. If I can get it figured out, I'll post a couple of my own. A computer whiz, I ain't.

Killed this one last fall here in Colorado. Bear season opens in 6 days.  There are quite a few bears in the area where I hunt.

Next Tuesday!!!!!  I've been applying for 5 years now.  Called my bear guide, he said "there's bears".  Trucks packed, broadheads sharpened.  Hope I can post here next week!

Man does this get the blood pumping! Heading to the UP in the morning to check baits and do a little scouting. Two more weeks for us.
Plant a fruit or nut tree today, and have good hunting tomorrow.

Bear season is well underway here in CA. I was looking for them last weekend, but no luck. Two other hunters saw bears but didn't have tags for them.
I'm going back with a group of guys who say they know of at least one den, next weekend. We'll see how it goes.
