Almost didn't keep this little gem.
I was frustrated with the delays from Chekmate when they fell behind due to illness and other problems.
Then the shipping got mixed up and it went to Mississippi instead of here to Ontario. THEN it got held up in customs for almost 2 weeks...
I had it for sale, then decided to take it out, tune it and try it out.
In a word...WOW!!! what a nice little longbow/flatbow. It is 58" long, 54#'s at 26" and shoots a heavy ash arrow with authority.
It is hickory/actionwood cored with waterfall bubinga veneers belly and back. the riser is bubinga, actionwood, hickory and walnut. Black phenolic/micarta tips round it out.
It really handles my old GN quiver nicely and is a joy to shoot. I have missed using a bowquiver the last 2 seasons; they are really the most practical option.
It is almost a "D" when strung, very mild R/D.
The fit and finish are amazing, I have other bows, but this one stands alone in that category, Marc really knows his stuff and puts out great looking/shooting bows.
It is fast becoming the bow I tote to the woods the most.
Here are a few pics.
