Just wanted to start a thread on deer killed in this season. I'm hoping I can post my first Kentucky trad deer this year.

I saw 12 on Saturday and 5 more yesterday. I had a big doe walk to within 6 yards of my stand yesterday morning, but she was staring at me the whole way in so I couldn't draw. After a few minutes she turned and walked to about 25 yards away. She was angling away at an extreme angle and I decided not to shoot. I hope to add some deer to this thread soon.

This coming weekend should be good. One of our locals, Joe Lacefield has taken a doe with a selfbow he made from ky coffee tree, a pretty neat story. Just one of many he will take this year im sure.
