Hard not to wish a day away!
«
on:
September 11, 2015, 08:02:00 AM »
Tomorrow morning we are headed to Colorado for a 2 week elk hunt in the wilderness. Today we are packing customer orders and going to Grandparents day at Henry's school, however my head is already in the mountains with elk bugling and the smell of the wood stove.
Wish me luck getting through today. LOL

It is difficult to focus on the tasks at hand when you are so looking forward to your hunt.
Good luck with the day!! AND the hunt.

Savor the excitement of the journey ahead. That's the best part. The sad thing to me is knowing it will all be over in the blink of an eye.
Best of luck...

Longest day of the year for you Mike. But you'll get through it and you're going to beat me there so I have no sympathy! I'm down to counting hours instead of days myself. 87 more to go. :D

Dang how can those kids sleep? I've been up since 4:30 vibrating. Jason and Tyler will be rousting soon I hope and we can load the trailer and hook up the truck.
Gotta go to breakfast with the family before we head out though so maybe a 9:30 get away.
John should be on the road shortly in California. We are meeting in Pagosa Springs tomorrow at noon.

Isn't it crazy how we wish our lives away every year waiting for deer season. Then season is here for what seems like a minute and we are wishing our lives away again.
Good luck on your hunt
