Good luck Ron, remember you don't always have to go deep sometime you just gotta step off the road.

Maybe you could find some old timber company land.  The old log roads could give you an easier time.  The deer like those old trails especially if they run parallel along a hill like a bench.

I feel it man! It has been two years since I had a hunting camp and that is how old my new tent is. Hang in buddy, and do what you can.Whhatever you can acheive, it's all good!

This year, I will be back, and I am hoping for the healing that only the wild can give.

Well tomorrow is the day.....I go back in the hospital to have my knee manually bent to gain range of motion. They will sedate me [out cold] and bend my knee as far as they physically can. Then into a machine that will bend my leg all night long. Hope this does the trick.......

Prayers your way Ron. Rehab is tough!

That does not sound like fun. Good luck on the rehab.

Be thinking about you Ron!

I'm going to try really hard to avoid any complications that would impede my own rehab so's to avoid what you're going thru!

I'm sure if you'd have had your druthers, you'd druther have avoided the esophagus issue!

How's that now anyway???  Prayers up for ya, Hoss!

Ron,

Prayers headed your way.  Keep us posted as I'm sure there are enough here that if there is a way to get you in the woods, even if a drive for some, it can be done.

Take Care,

That flexing machine can really work wonders. I probably would not have worked as hard at rehab if I had not had that thing bending my knee for me. Was walking around plenty, but that doesn't flex your knee like it needs to be flexed. I still have high hopes you will be able to enjoy this season yet.
