Gutless Method Bull
« on: September 18, 2015, 12:21:00 PM »
Ignore the wheels in my dads hands.  All of my friends and hunting partners still shoot them...So its hard for me to make a video or take a pic without one in it.

The point of the is simply the story, taggin out and cleaning a bull.  I'll report on my season later, as I still have another cow and yet another bull tag to fill.  But, thought you all might enjoy this for now anyway!

Anyway, The song on here is from chad slagle, Wapitis Prayers.  Links to buy it in the description.

very cool video.
and respect sir- one sees so much waste with some hunters- just taking quarters and walking away- we owe it to the animal to use as much of him as we can!
cheers
awesome song by the way- how does one buy a copy!! any more songs?

Yeah, my dads elk.  Stories on mine are forthcoming at the end of the season... I like to put something together you know.

Florida, this is in 4x.  It takes us 45 to an hour to bone out a bull together in this fashion.  Can be done much quicker if there is intent.

And often, much slower, depending on the mood! Thanks for watching!

that was cool!   was wondering and this is for all elk hunters after you take all the meat do you have to leave a tag behind with the carcass so whoever comes upon the carcass knows it was legally taken?

good job though I'd like to see more of these high speed videos..

Chad, when you do another, can you please slow it down a tad for that portion where you go in for the tenderloins ?  I've been there and done that, but others might like to see it done.  Again, well done.

Tajue17, in Idaho the tag has to stay with the meat, attached to the largest portion. Nothing has to stay with what's left as long as all legality of meat removal is met.
