First Time I missed Opening Day...
« on: October 13, 2007, 02:15:00 PM »
But it was so worth it.
Here is the newest hunter of the family, Jace Parker. 21" long, 9 pounds, five ounces on the 10th of October. I am so completely happy. Mom and boy are already home and we are adjusting well...just had to brag a bit. And good luck to all of you out there on NY's opening day(Southern Zone)!!!

Jamie... I was ready to give ya chit about missing first Day of Deer...But you are forgiven and relate this tale to your wonderfull women to show what a careing, thoughtfull and devoted man you are(I have a friend who's son was born opening day at 8:00am. new Dad was in the woods by 9:00am... I still dont know how he managed to stay alive, with all organs still in their proper places, let alone married to her still hehehe). What a super way to spend a missed opener, So glad everyone is well and at home settling in.( But hey Jamie...PLAN these things man, grab the Calender and count backwards...LOL) Take care, and Good Luck when you get out there.

Glad to see you've got your priorities in order. You'd be kicking yourself for the rest of your life if had you missed Jace's "opening day". Congratulations Jamie.
