September pre-hunt/stump shoot
« on: September 20, 2015, 03:20:00 PM »
So I went out today with my Monringstar to go set up on this new public land I'm gonna try this year just to give my equipment a run. I got a new stand this year and wanted to make sure I got it all down before game day.
I had two deer right after shooting light come in right under the stand, then 15 min later 6 more came thru.  I let them leave the area then got down and set out for some stumping in a different area of the WMA.

And here is a vid from last year, the review of my Morningstar

Nice......great way to spend some time and the best practice there is..........

Looks like a fun time in the woods, Brian!

Good luck this season on your new hunting spot.
