2 blade broadhead alignment

How do you guys align your 2 blade broadheads when gluing?  Vertical, horizontal, angled?

I don't glue mine because I don't shoot wood arrows, but I do set all mine up to be horizontal as I draw back with my bow canted.

Whatever winds your clock. As long is the bow and arrow are well tuned it won't make a bit of difference.

I prefer mine laying horizontal.

My broadheads are about 10 and 5. I think it the most important thing to consider is that all heads are aligned the same.

Awesome, I appreciate it.  I am less than 3 years into traditional archery.  Always interested in watching and listening to what others have had success with.

Are you, by chance, left handed?

Horizontal as a personal preference for unobstructed field of view.

Just a question but does it actually matter ? I've always heard it didn't for a well tuned arrow somebody educate me    :dunno:

I meant 10 and 4. I am right handed, but I shoot left wing feathers. I get good arrow flight with that alignment.  I've noticed that if my broadheads aren't aligned the same, they will group differently, especially out to 25 yards or so.  I wouldn't think it would matter for a 3 blade though.

I glue mine on (woodies). I make sure the arrow is straight, then put the head in with hot melt. Then I put it on the spin tester and spin. If it wobbles, I re-heat and re-twist. Keep doing it until my arrows spin true. Wherever the head is oriented after that, so be it. I dont shoot gaps so I dont even really see the head when I hunt except for peripherally and unfocused.

I align mine horizontal. My thought is if there is a cross wind at time of a shot that the wind won't have as much to push on as the arrow begins its flight.

doesn't matter as far as I know, but I have always lined mine up vertically, to me horizontal catches my eye more, where a vertical head is pretty un noticeable that is with a 2 blade anyway..

It really doesnt matter if your set up is tuned.  I set my Zwickeys essentially lined up with the string "canted" when at full draw.  Works for well for me and the broadheads disappear at full draw.  I should add that I tune my arrows with broadheads installed and shoot broadheads 99% of the year.

I align mine so the arrow spins true, however they come out. I don't think it really matters, at least I've never noticed a difference.
