Hi
« on: September 29, 2015, 01:39:00 PM »
New too the forum just got my bear grizzly in today..... cannot wait to try it out in a couple of hours. I was into trad archery as a kid nothing serious but recently bought a compound and within a week said to myself this is not for me.... back to traditional for this guy. As a kid never had anywhere to shoot except back yard.  Now I live five min from a beautiful free outdoor range.  I hope to be a student of the game and hoping this forum can really impart some knowledge.
My name is Dave and I'm sorry if this is the wrong place to put this kind of post I really did make an effort to find a say hello sort of thread place but alas could not.  Anyway I live in baton rouge Louisiana with my wife and two kids 1 and 3. I work as a deputy sheriff in this beautiful state. I love hunting fishing and serving my community. Don't be a stranger and feel free to give me any of your hard earned wisdom on trad archery.
Nothing clears a troubled mind like shooting a bow.

Welcome, lots of active and retired cops on this site. Traditional archery and bowhunting is a disease for which there is no cure.
