60" 48@28
He is drawing 26-26.5 inches.
Easton Traditional 600 skinny carbons cut at 27.5", 195gr eclipse broadhead/insert for a total arrow weight of 515gr.
Complete pass through and stuck in a tree. Shot placement was touch back, but got liver and offside lung. Doe went maybe 50 yards, with the last 15 rolling down a steep slope in the gulch. Waited a full hour before tracking, but was probably dead in seconds.
Doe looked to be 1.5 years old.
I was working late the night before, so older brother helped him sharpen broadheads, and they were/are shaving sharp.
Now if he can get his first buck. He is having some trouble. Part of the issue is he is being too picky and has actually missed a couple nice ones the last two years. Maybe this year?
