Ohio doe with a green razor hear
« on: October 06, 2015, 08:27:00 PM »
Sunday evening I finally got to kill a very nice doe with a vintage bear razor head from my dads friends father.I couldn't believe how good of a job it actually did and she went down within 40 yards. Very impressed. I have no clue how to post pictures from my phone

Great job. I had some of those Bear heads from when I was a teen - they are long gone. Still a good head.

I know some may disagree with this, and though some broadheads are just better quality(steel and craftsmanship), I think ANY broadhead put in the "right spot" will kill them just as good as the next.  I think the quality of steel comes into play on the less than perfect shots.  I know guys who have killed a deer with a field tip(accidentally).

Congrats on the beautiful animal.  Your son will remember that forever, thanks for sharing.

Great shot!  Congratulations!  Those old Bear broadheads have accounted for a lot of animals!

Nice, Congrats!
The season gave him perfect mornings, hunter's moons and fields of freedom found only by walking them with a predator's stride.
