All the difference
« on: October 08, 2015, 10:59:00 PM »
I have dreamt of a bear grizzly for years... I finally got my wish a couple of weeks ago.  And when I though it could not get any better it did.  One of our members here on trad gang decided to shoot my a PM.  It was about something not even on my horizon but he insisted that I should get this and get it now.....

Tonight in the dark I strung my bow with a new handmade string from 10 ring strings ( I could not wait till morning).  First of all I just want to say that I am glad that I listened.... second Allen did an amazing job on the string.. And to my wishes he perfectly captured my vision of the color I requested.  I told him simply that I wanted the string to bring the essence of Fall colors.. Falling leaves and the beauty that comes with it.  He did a perfect job.

My bow is now quieter, string is so far exceeds that of the factory string I cant believe it.  It just makes a world of difference.  And even in almost pitch black back yard with one porch light I put 3 arrows in a 2 inch circle at 15 yards..... I am lucky to get that in the day.... Every arrow I let go tonight was golden...
SO thank you to Allen and thanks to the trad gang member that took the time to talk me into something I didn't know I needed.
You know who you are =)

Be careful, you are going to make my head swell!   :)

I'm glad you are happy with it. I really like that color combo!

Awesome! I just received my first grizzly in the mail yesterday and also ordered 2 sets of strings from Allen. Waiting to get to get the string before I take a pic.

I really love my bow, nice slim grip, and the bow is so light. perfect fit for me,

Longtoke could not agree more.. I shot the grizzly in a pro shop every time I went for the last 6 months... Had to by one.  And man I am really getting it dialed in.  7 7/8 brace height and a half inch from square nock are doing me well.

Yep, sad but true that chucking a Bear string and adding a quality one really wakes those bows up! And I can't for the life of me think of a more highly recommended string builder than who did the work. You may have to post up pics of that string! If who built my last one can't make another at the end of this season tenring is my next stop!

As you can see the dark brown, mixed with a medium brown, and orange to give that fall color scheme. Medium brown serving, two orange nocking points and to top it off brown and orange silencers. Pictures do not do it justice.

Oh yeah, that is definitely "fall woods". Looks excellent and I'm glad it works just as good!
