Full on Trad

Well yesterday was another exciting day in my life . My compound bow finally sold which means two things.. One I am fully on trad no training wheels to lean back on. And two I was able to put some of my proceeds to finish ordering all the things I need to get my new cedar shafts from the footed shaft up and running.
I have made the order and am very very excited about my first arrow being built. Anyways I am here to stay! Hunting licence to come shortly.

It's a blast!! I wish I had switched many years ago. This is my first 100% year of trad hunting, shooting and tinkering for a few now, and I'm having more fun than ever! I'm also getting to spend more time in the woods because, well I just haven't gotten close enough!
Best of luck and enjoy the journey!

Yep! I mean I only had the compound for about a month and a half...Within a week or two I knew I wanted to sell it. Anyway yeah definitely all in at this point.

I'm with you Timber. This is my third year but I too rue the time spent with the wheels. Didn't know any better. No turning back now. Now, if I could just find me some critters. I think they're all on extended vacation here in Jersey.

It's been 17 years for me now. I even substitute my trad bow for a rifle in "firearms" season.
It gets in your blood!!
