Well, they're two of my top three bows. I've owned 6 different widows and 3 TTs.  They're both very different. I love the grip on the TTs, however You really need to try both.  Me personally, I'm a little more partial to The Widows.

Boy those are two different bows right there! I'd try them both but I much prefer the TallTines. I've owned several widow recurves and longbows and was not a fan at all...Nice bow but much better to be had for less $

Had quite a few of both and now only have TT's.

Breaking it down in every category the TT came out on top. Really like the BW's but they just didn't compare performance wise.

Good luck choosing...

BW makes a fine bow, and a looker!

Performance, and shootabilty goes to TT hands down.

Brian's grip is second to none, making for a very forgiving bow.

TT also will be faster and much more quite..

both great bows, but my vote is TallTines hands down.

Have had both. I preferred the TT. But killed a pile of deer with my widow and it was a great bow but I was young in my trad quest and it was loud and I never could calm it. I am sure I could today though with what I've learned from folks here.

TT normal grip is really high and deep. My hand fit right down in it and it was great for me. If you have extra large hands you would have trouble with it. I am sure Brian can make them with lower grips though. Both bows had fantastic performance. I never have shot the Widow PCH but have wanted to. Mine was a PAIII. You really need to shoot them to figure it out or buy both and sell the one you cull.

Ha, Izzy, that bow sure is a looker!!

This is like comparing apples to Oranges in a way. You really need to try both for yourself. As I've said and others have mentioned, Brian makes the best grip out there. I've shot widows exclusively for 20 years so They feel more "right" to me. They are two bows that I will always have in my rack!!

Widow for me, much easier to shoot due to the deflexed nature of the design. I thought the Widow has a more "solid" feel. Had a TT and did not like the grip at all. You won't go wrong with either though.

Might also want to look at Blacktails. About the same $ as the TT.

Between the two I would have to go with the Tall Tines. Don't get me wrong I like the spiders especially in a long bow, but for a curve it's TTs without question. Here is a picture of my son and his bow.

One I use to own. I miss this one.

I too have both, and I think you should shoot them to see which one you might prefer. Though I like shooting them both they shoot differently. The TT may be ever so slightly faster but speed isn't the determining factor for me. My Widows are excellent performers and when shooting 3D's I have shot my best scores with the Widows. As I said I like them both and I like the grips on both. Brian for me makes possibly the best grip I have ever held in my hand. BW's are solid as Sherman tanks and shoot lights out and when it comes to company longevity Widow wins hands down. Both are great folks with great customer service. Don't think you can go wrong either way. I lean a little more toward the Widows and recently purchase a new one. Here are photos of mine to compare.

I didn't have either one before June of this year.  Then I went bear hunting with a bunch of Tall Tines users.  Keith Kocher let me try his TT out and I was sold.

I still have my Blacktail - it is very worthy of your consideration.  That is what I shot my bear with. 53# with a Sitka Spruce arrow shot completely through the bear.

But, now I own two Tall Tines, one lighter than the  Blacktail, one heavier.  One standard grip, one lower grip.  I love all three of them.  Interesting side note:  one of the TT was built from the left over wood from Gene Wensel's bow.  Really cool looking bow.

Straightshot, Those bows are outrageous! Can't comment on the TT never shot one. Been a Black Widow customer. In most of this vs that threads alot of the time it's a Widow that's being compaired to, gotta be a reason for it.
