I just ordered some 200 grain VPA 3 blades to try. I've always used a two blade (mostly single bevel recently), and never had an issue shooting through the shoulder of a deer and still getting two holes.
I'm sure with my set up (60# at my 30.5" draw/597 grain arrow), I've got plenty of juice for any whitetail on the planet. I'm just curious if anybody has some aftermath photos of these broadheads hitting shoulder blades.
Just a confidence booster. And yes...I've already done a search. May consider using them for elk next year if they perform well enough and can hold up.
