Archery target material?
« on: November 14, 2015, 10:37:00 AM »

What is this material and where can you get it? This target came over on the Mayflower...best money I've ever spent(about$70). It originally was bound with wire, but I made my own frame with threaded rod and 2x10's so I can restack/tighten when a section gets shot out. I've done it a least a dozen times.  The stacked slats are only about 1/16th to 1/8th thick and look like some kind of insulative sheathing used in construction, but is too thin.  I still see black ones as back stops at 3-D shoot, but I like my white better, as it doesn't seem to leave residue on arrows as bad. I'm sure it isn't cheap any more, lol!

I have some of those targets. Originally, I got them in Wilkes but I had the local archery shop find and stock them. Next time your up the mountain, let me know and I will give you directions.
