Thanks guys.
We had an overall great weekend.
We each shot a pheasant Saturday morning with all kinds of stories to go with that crazy, fun hunt.
Then worked the rest of the weekend on this buck.
Its warm now, so we had to cape it out, get the head to the taxidermist, and get the carcass on ice to butcher tomorrow night. No time to do any other option.
We were just sitting on the couch together, and he looked at me and said, "Im beat. This is what its all about. This was one of the best weekends of my life."
That statement, after the time we just had together made it one of my best also.

The broadhead used, regardless of how sharp, is nowhere as important as being able to place it in the correct spot.
