Just had a delicious meal cooked by my beautiful Italian wife. Pasta, with a meat sauce with the sausage from the deer simmered in. My whole family is together for the first time tonight since late summer. Tyler(12 years) is my live at home hunting and fishing partner, Tom(18, University of Maine freshman) is home today and dove into cooking tenderloin and sausage before I even got home, Jessica(20, Ithaca College 3rd year) also home today, hunted bison with me at 10 years old. Helped with the meal. We all sat around the dinner table with the deer from this weekend, peach cobbler from our peach trees, a fantastic meal, and all kinds of mixed and new stories.
Dammit, what life is better than that of a trad hunter's family??????
I have no legitimate complaints, life is grand right now!!!!!!!!!!!!!   :campfire:
