Congrats on such a fine buck.  That is so cool that you got pictures and have so much history with him .  You buck looks like a horse next to the other deer.  Well done

Tracy,
Congratulations on another fine critter and thanks for sharing the story/history,  it is appreciated.   As always, You Done Good.....REALLY GOOD!
The broadhead used, regardless of how sharp, is nowhere as important as being able to place it in the correct spot.

There's so much more to a hunt then the moment we drop the string on a critter.....

I love hearing the back story, the history with the land and buck, the kinsmanship with the ridge you were hunting, the sheds, Your Shop - where all those memories live on......   :archer:

Fantastic! What a great story! Congratulations
The season gave him perfect mornings, hunter's moons and fields of freedom found only by walking them with a predator's stride.

Thanks Ben, I couldn't agree more and it's the type of story's I look for on here myself. I just said not long before your post that there was so much more to this hunt then I could possibly put on here but you said it all right there. Thank you!

Thanks to all for the nice comments and Happy Thanksgiving!

Thanks for sharing that story!  Great buck - glad his genetics are out there and one of his descendants may get to rule that part of the world the way he did - and give those who hunt them a thrill!
