One caveat.............. be sure you have means and a place to dispose of them when the time comes! I had one placed in my yard once. When it began to come apart .............. "Holy Cow"! I never imagined how much hay is in one of those things!

if you do use them I recommend only shooting at them at swine wrapped side...if you shoot at them from the flat side you'll have arrows go all the way in and lost

I have done the same as Redbeast. It is fun to shoot at them roving around my field. I don't know what distance I have shot at- maybe up to 80 yards or so. Perhaps because of the distance I have not had problems getting the arrow out.

I shot one for years. I ended up shooting VPA small game heads into them. Arrows pull super easy and helps you pick a spot on game IMO.
