Nothing to add that hasn't already been said. Don't know if you have any children or grandchildren but with me, I find, as I advance farther and farther into the twilight, that I can't tell mine often enough that I love them. Will come a time when that won't be possible and don't want to regret not doing so. I do wish you the best that can be in your present predicament though and enjoy, if possible, what time you have left to the best of your ability.

That is hard news, and tough thing to process!  Yo will stay in my thoughts.  Take the time you have to get as much enjoyment out of time with family and friends. They will be your strength and you will be able to give them something to hold onto as well.
The season gave him perfect mornings, hunter's moons and fields of freedom found only by walking them with a predator's stride.

If you still have the strength to do it go get in one more hunt and make it the bucket list hunt you always wanted! Be with the friends and Family you love as long as you can. Every man dies but not every man truly lives. You have lived

So sorry to hear the news.  Keep the faith and as others have said, keep your head up and fight on. Working as a ER trauma nurse most of my life I have seen a lot, my faith is what has gotten me through it all.
