I can't see how a $30 fee would stop a scammer if he were to realize a $500 or $600, or more, profit. The only reason I'm not a contributor is because I don't need another bow and if I were a member, I'm absolutely certain I would own at least one more. As for the TCs, I've heard nothng but good things about them and if I were to get another stick, I think I would try one.

This post started with a question about BigJim's TC and evolved into some commentary regarding the $30.00 contributor's fee required to use the Classifieds. I have been a member for several years as my 10,000 number will attest. I paid the fee last year but vowed never again! I have seen member numbers well beyond the 40,000 mark. If only 1/4 of that number decided to participate in the $30.00 membership fee that would bring in over $300,000. I just don't get it!

Agree or not, let's not get the thread pulled for being off-topic.
