Three from the 2015 season that were all killed with the same arrow; 11/32" maple shaft with a 190 grain Cutthroat broadhead. Total arrow weight was 812 grains. The last deer broke the shaft but I was able to recover the high-dollar broadhead.

You cannot kill anything with wood shafts. They obviously do not work.

Kelly,

If given the option, I would take the buck you got over the bison in less than a heartbeat.
The broadhead used, regardless of how sharp, is nowhere as important as being able to place it in the correct spot.

From a 'few' years ago. Everything I have ever shot with trad bows has been with wood arrows.
