I have a 1 pc that Beth helped me with after many conversations we picked coco with bacote veeners on the limbs . It is on the schafer web site sitting on the work bench , totally a work of art . I wouldn't have one without the checkered grip .

That desert ironwood is about as cool as it gets but less common than unicorns. I'm pretty sold on a subtle, quilted maple. It is a lethal looking combo when paired with charcoal dymondwood.

Or how about quilted maple on the belly and eastern diamond back on the back. Do you remember this one from Wild things?

I just sold my cousin a pair of ball python skinned limbs that I wanted for a long, long time. Once I got them I felt like I liked wood a little bit better. I do remember that bow though, Ken.

Well Felix, I'm working (kind of) instead of hunting so I would love to see a pic of that bow as well as anyone elses pics. Now all I have to do is hunt down some gnarly quilted maple lams. Think I found some but will run the by Dave before I buy. I am enjoying this thread and appreciate your responses. Can never see too many silvertip pics.

I had a sweet Zipper extreme with waterfall bubbling limbs that I sold off. My cousin has recently reunited the limbs with the riser and is making me want that bow back. Great looking stuff with a lot of characteristics of quilted maple.

Izzy- I went with the Rosewood dymond wood , with Camphor Burl veneers.
Then I see Kirks post , about them being unstable, and stinky -- Oh Well- they're over top double carbon lams so... If Dave or Beth have a problem , I'm sure they'll call or E-mail. In the meantime -- I just Pray. Hopefully it'll be here soon after the first of Jan/ 16....
