Was on the phone with Greg yesterday and my slot on the Java Man build list is approaching the top.

Was initially planning on a Helms Deep, but talked myself out of that and into a 2-piece Elk Heart. Dyed curly maple veneers with a cocobolo and phenolic riser.

I need to make myself a new back quiver with a special internal compartment for the limbs. They will be shorter than my arrows   :)

Always thought that 50's style recurve of yours looked pretty slick!
Talk yourself into building a new form, I,m betting a pretty sweet bow couldn't be too far out..

The seeping influence and epic nature of Big Jim has evolved into a veritable flood of desire to pursue a coveted choice Thunderchild. My prudence has been betrayed by the captivating and alluring creations imbued by this masterfully skilled bowyer.

Should have a Super Shrew being built now, and have an order waiting for a Rose Oak Ace. Thinking about sending a deposit in for a Silvertip... IF I don't bust the budget in the classifieds!    :archer:
Rose Oak Ace 41@28
Super Shrew Gold 42@28
Black Widow PCH-X 40@28
Toelke Pika 43@28

The fun is all out of it up here in Canada with a low 70 cent dollar next to yours. Add in the duty at the border and most bow prices end up at 150%.

Being a bear for punishment, however, has me trying to figure out how to fund a Tolke something. Probably a Whip. Or a Pika. Or a Chinook. The only thing I know for sure - it won't be all three!

would love to find a used shrew in 2016 when the time is right too!

Received my Heritage T/D from Brandon late last year. Awesome bow. I'll Probably (well, maybe) not be in the market for another bow in 2016.
