Love the story with the history, suspense,and the successful taken of a beautiful animal.

Great story and pics.
(Though that's the first time I've ever seen someone wearing shorts to retrieve a deer. Darned kids are a lot tougher than we are, I guess.) Congratulations on both a beautiful deer and having a wonderful family. Nope, it doesn't get any better.

Wow Tim.  So happy for you.  Well deserved for sure!!!! I for one know what a great accomplishment that is anywhere in the country but to do it around our way during gun season is just plain awesome!!!!!!!   Great deer and great pics.  Congrats man!!
