Looongbow(66" and longer) harvest pics
« on: December 16, 2015, 09:53:00 AM »
I just picked up this awsome 66" 52lb@28 Deathwish Longbow and its by far the longest bow I've owned I cant hunt until Sunday. Was hoping I could be entertained until then by some pictures from those of you who shoot a long bow still. Thanks as always everyone pick a spot and shoot straight.

Big Jim Buffalo 66" 61# at my draw and big Jim 300 gr broadhead
Mouflon ram ( Corsican ram) 12 yards shot 100 yards recovery Fair chase public land hunting in the Pyrenean mountains at the French-Spanish border ( French side) a great memory for me.

And the way I found him after big Jim broadhead work:easy trail you guess

The Turkey kills. Do you just build a ground blind because a pop up is to short isn't it?

Never get tired of seeing a picture of Dennys ram.  Here is a bear that I shot in Colorado over a water hole (no bait) in 2014.  Black Widow PLX 66"

I don't have any trouble shooting my 68" out of the Double Bull Blind recurve model.  I once got a turkey with a 70" Howard Hill bow with the standard Double Bull blind but you had to cant the bow just right.

The biggest of 4 turkeys this year (1 spring jake, this gobbler in the fall, and two hens) 66 inch JD Berry Morningstar on this one. Killed the jake out of a ground blind, the others were spot and stalk.
