Hunting with Marie , (my wife)
« on: December 17, 2015, 09:06:00 AM »
Enjoyed a great early season with Marie. She is always a blast to hunt with and we had a lot of action this year.
I started off with this doe right as we were eating the last packages of venison from the previous season.

Marie followed up with this huge (200#+) 8-point.

This 9-point walked by my stand a week later.

The last week of early season I shot a buck on an afternoon hunt that I'd seen several times. I waited to the next morning to trail. Marie said she would love to fill her second buck tag so we could take a double picture.

The next morning she shot a 5-point and it went down in under 50 yards, like her first buck. We recovered it first.

After a lengthy search we found my buck. This was an extra special buck to me and Marie had found one of his sheds the previous winter.

We placed our bucks together so we could get Marie's double picture too.
