Stalker coyote recurve help?
« on: December 17, 2015, 07:37:00 PM »
Got one on order, 15" riser with static limbs.

Can't decide on length 60" or 62". I have 28" draw hunt from trees and the ground.

Never shot his bows, I currently shooting g a 64" longbow

60" recurve seems short

Any advice? Just want to make sure I make the right call

Talk to South, he's a pleasure to deal with.  I would think with the 15" riser and 60" it would be more than adequate for a 28" draw
I had a 64" static Wolverine with 19" riser and it would pull clear to 31" smooth.  I think a 60" with 15" riser would also be more dead in the hand than the 62" with same length riser.

Agree. I had 3 all 60"     15" risers
They are incredible bows. You'll love it.

Mine is 62" and I'm very pleased with it. But I like longer bows, if your shooting a 64" longbow even 62" will seem short.

I second the 62", smoother and still plenty quick. I used mine in trees and ground blinds.

Thanks for the input, I like a longer bow myself, but not sure what to do.

With your draw length and hunting from trees I would definitely recommend 60". It will feel short at first after shooting a longer long bow but you'll get used to it quickly. You're gonna love it.

Do not stress over the 60. It will be quick and plenty smooth.

I'm a stand and blind hunter and never wished a bow was longer.

Im shooting a 60" coyote and drawing 29 inches. No issues and it's my favorite bow so far.

I also owned a 60" coyote and it worked great with my 29" draw. You will not be disappointed  !

I have a 56" Coyote with my 26" draw. It's very smooth! I think the 60"@28" would be smooth and fast for you also! Stalkers are great bows!
