My turn to shoot and
« on: October 16, 2007, 09:13:00 PM »
Score, I am pretty beat right now so I will be quick. No story right away. Equipment was a RER Arroyo 54#s at my 28.5" draw and CX heritage 150 with 50 grain brass insert and 125 grain Snuffer, shot was 8ft. from base of tree and recovery was 50 yards. More later with a pic. or two. I am a very happy hunter right now. Shawn

Steve, since he said "a very happy hunter right now", I'm thinking it's something real nice!

There is nothing like scratching a predatory itch.

Eight feet, thats the same range a mountain lion strikes from!!!

Congrats.

The last critter I shot from eight feet was a Mountain lion,    :scared:   but that is another story.  I have the coffee pot set for early in the morning and am waiting to for this story to get rolling.   :campfire:
The broadhead used, regardless of how sharp, is nowhere as important as being able to place it in the correct spot.
