Tell me about IMGUR

I have zero knowledge of photography or posting pictures on Trad Gang. It seems that IMGUR is widely recommended, but getting on their website was more confusing than helpful. Can somebody point me in the right direction? How much does it cost, how do you download it to the computer, how do pictures get loaded? I have wanted to be able to include pictures but am just now getting around to asking for help. Any assistance will be appreciated.
