Hey tradgang! Im completly new to bowhunting and hunting in general, its great to be a member here! ill warn everybody since all the guys at my local archery store shoot compounds so they arent super helpful when it comes to trad archery so ill be asking lots of questions!    :)

Welcome youg man. I would recommend going through the search engine and save yourself some time with your questions. If you cant find it there, then ask away. With 30,000 + members, someone will surely be able to answer it.

     People here are glad to help and it is not so much that time is being wasted (we all like to talk bows) but it is a nice place to go were others of us new ones have found it a treasure trove. But don't be afraid to ask. Take care

Check your local library for books on archery in general. Alot of the target recurve stuff transfers to all recurve and you can get the correct nomenclature to ask the right questions when you do need to ask. 3 Rivers has several excellent books to get you started if nothing avalible at your library.
