One of the nicest, high eights I shot (190#, 135"), with my own POC arrow and a 190 Ribbie, went from top to bottomus, just off the spine at the shoulder, exiting the brisket en route through he heart.  Sweet!

Easy to sharpen and a hell of a classy trad look about them.  You could always gut your deer with a 190 if you ever forgot your knife   :)

Nice critters Mark!
I've been using Ribteks ever since they were first available here in the U.S..... 20 years or so..??  I remember an article on them in Rik Hintons mag... Instinctive Archer.  I've used quite a few different brands of heads over the years and I don't think there's a tougher broadhead.  I've taken a bunch of whitetails with the 160 and several with the 190s. .....love 'em!  Sorry, can't do pics on this site.

I only did one edge to see how it would work.  I'll try to put a pic up after the other edge is done along with a weight.

Nice pic Tom. Wish I woulda jumped sooner and got some of those 160s. I got a couple dozen of the others on the way. I'm sure they'll work just fine!

Once you experience the 190s you will love em!  Get some while you can.  I have a lifetime supply of the 190s.

Awesome picture Tom.  Heads are selling very well and I can't thank you all enough for the awesome support in this venture. I'm still pretty well stocked but don't wait to long. When they're gone that's probably the last we'll see of them.

Thanks Matty and Brad. The knife and stone is my great grandfathers. They are on permanent display in the man cave.

I shot the 160's for a while and found them to be a great broadhead.  I have some 190's coming now.

That is the reason I bought about 12 dozen of them over past couple years...just in case the Colonel did not come out of retirement or sell his setups...and the Ribtek fades away.

If they ever disappear and I run out...figure the Tuffheads and Grizzlys will be my backups.

Question...
Do you have to fill ferrel all the way to the tip with the wood arrow or is it ok to have a gap of empty space there?  My taper tool doesn't extend the point out that far.

I shoot them with standard 1" tapers and haven't noticed anything unusual. Longer would probably be ideal, but I've had no trouble.
